The Bread that made CB's mind up about making me a "Guest Chef"  and featured on Sizzleonthegrill.com

2 cups flour (Gold Medal brand better for bread flour)    pinch of salt,  1/4 tsp surgar,  1/4 tsp olive oil, 1 pkg dry yeast, 1 cup warm water (110 temp).   Mix well  and let rise for 1 to 2 hrs. After it had a chance to rise, punch down and work very well to get air inside of dough. Place in pot and let rise again for 2 hrs in a warm area.  Warm up TBE before placing pot inside. Cooks  about 25 min's  


Southern Style CornBread!

2 1/2cups corn meal   3 tbsp flour    2 eggs   1 1/2 cups butter milk and 2 tbs oil.    Spray 8 in. cast pot with non stick spray. Fill pot and place in preheated  Big Easy, remember I do bread after the meal is cooked. This gives the meat time to rest.   


Jalapeno  CornBread

2 cups corn meal,  3 tbsp flour, 2 eggs, 1 1/2 cups butter milk, 1 tbs oil , 4 to 5 tbsp jalapeno's.   Spray pot with non stick spray and pour in 8 in. cast pot.   Place in TBE.  Should cook for 20 to 30 min's.  Use a tooth pick to check.


The Big Easy Deep Dish Pizza

Yes you can make pizza in TBE!!      Start with pizza dough, spread on greased bottom cast iron pot, pull side up to create a "dish" and fill the dish with anything you like then top with another thin crust dough. Pinch together so there is no leaking, "Bake" about 25 min's or until brown.
